(This page is large and may take a while to download)

New South Wales:

The Foundation received nominations spread across NSW, from Eden to Murwillumbah and from Sydney to Broken Hill. There were multiple nominations from areas such as the Riverina, Camden, the Central Coast and the South Coast. Communities gave strong support to their nominations with some schools making multiple nominations of staff members. Teachers selected for the Regional Awards reflect the spread of excellence as perceived by parents and students.

Awardees were welcomed at the Manly Pacific Hotel, Sydney by the Vice-Chair of the NEiTA Foundation, Dr Arnold Bonnet. Awards were presented by Mrs Jillian Skinner, MP, NSW Shadow Minister for Education and Training. Teachers short-listed for further consideration for the 2004 national awards will be notified later
