State Award Recipients 2003
(This page is large and may take a while to download)

South Australia / Northern Territory:

The Foundation received nominations of outstanding teachers from metropolitan Adelaide and Darwin and from rural and remote centres such as Mataranka, Alyangula, Kadina, Roxby Downs and Two Wells. School communities gave strong support to teachers who were inspiring, able communicators and who showed passion for their teaching. Teachers selected for the Regional Awards reflect the combined judgement of panels to find shining examples of excellence.

Awardees were welcomed at the Chifley on South Terrace by the Vice-Chairman of the NEiTA Foundation, Dr Arnold Bonnet with the awards presented by the SA Minister for Education and Children's Services, the Hon. Trish White, MP. Teachers short-listed for further consideration for the 2003 national awards will be notified during first term.
