Victoria / Tasmania:

The Foundation received record nominations for outstanding teachers from schools in both States with over 100 from Tasmania and a cross-section of schools from most parts of Victoria. Teachers selected for Regional Awards reflect the quality of nominations and recognise the achievements of teaching specialists as well as those of preschool, general primary and secondary teachers.

Awardees were welcomed at the Carlton Crest Hotel on 8 October by the Vice-Chairman of the NEiTA Foundation, Dr. Arnold Bonnet,  with the awards presented by Victorian Senator, Tsebin Tchen,  representing the Minister for Education, Training and Youth Affairs.
